Building Repair Solutions (BRS) is a growing domestic insurance property repair specialist which due to expansion is now looking to recruit a Claims Handler at its office at the Waterfront by Merry Hill.
BRS originally started in Essex but over the last few years has opened offices in Dudley, West Midlands and Livingston in Scotland and is enjoying enviable growth.
The role is primarily communicating and organisation between customers, clients, loss adjusters, surveyors and tradespeople which means every day is different. You will need to be confident and friendly along with a team mentality and drive in this fast-paced environment. Being empathetic and understanding the importance of honouring commitments is paramount as is following thorough.
You will ideally have some insurance knowledge although this is not mandatory as suitable training and development is offered. Over time you would be expected to ‘stand on your own two feet’ and be empowered to make decisions.
